Why Do Prices Vary So Much?

The biggest variable in full house plastering cost is the condition of the existing walls. If walls are in good condition and just need a skim coat, costs are at the lower end. If walls need plasterboarding first, have significant damp or damage, or are non-standard (high ceilings, unusual layouts), costs increase accordingly.

London properties also vary enormously — a Victorian terraced house with 3m ceilings, ornate plaster mouldings, and difficult access is very different from a modern new-build apartment with standard 2.4m ceilings and flat surfaces.
